Among its activities, the Parish provides spiritual, catechetical and pastoral care and activities for children and young people, as well as vulnerable adults. The Parish is committed to protecting and safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.

We follow the guidance of the Catholic Safeguarding Advisory Service (CSAS) on the safe recruiting of volunteers and  co-operation with the civil authorities in any case where the safety of children or vulnerable adults is threatened.

In addition, the Diocese of Hallam has its own Safeguarding Commission. The diocese's website has further information and contact details.

Our Local (Parish) Safeguarding Representative is awaiting appointment.

All of the above organisations and people will  assist you in any enquiry regarding safeguarding. However, it is also open to you to contact the police or social services directly. If you consider that a child or a vulnerable adult is in immediate danger, you should call the Police on 999.
